Native-born Houstonian and Texan, Erick holds over a decade of experience as a Texas Law Officer. Serving with Harris County Constable's Precinct 4 and the Harris County Sheriff's Department gives him unique personal knowledge of the interworking components and relationship between the two entities. With the newly defined lines of Pct 3 increasing the diversity and needs of the communities within it, Erick's expertise promises to be the answer to the question many hold in regard to how their community both fits in the overall picture and how it will be best served by law enforcement. Working many tireless hours on street patrol, he began to hear stories of concern from the many citizens he encountered as they felt the absence of security in their streets and homes. He understands the importance of a presence that deters the criminally-minded and assures the home and business owner. With a special emphasis on Personal Safety and addressing the social ills our community now faces, ills that cross every socio-economic line, he understands the importance of leading from the front to support his officers and staying entrenched in the community to help secure and preserve the peace of mind citizens deserve so they can entrust the safety of their families, homes and businesses to the Constable and Deputies of Precinct 3.
